the words of Jeremiah?
What made Jeremiah weep?
Pastor Christopher Lindstrom

Season of Pentecost
The season of Pentecost is the longest season of the church year.    The color for the season of Pentecost is Green, which represents growth in the Spirit  and that we follow the risen Christ.  Following Jesus is not a one day event and but a journey that lasts a lifetime. The Season of Pentecost reminds us of that journey and we often reflect on the teachings of Jesus from the end of May until the 3rd Sunday or 4th Sunday of November.
This summer we are looking at the challenging words of the prophets and in the fall we will look at how Jesus can help us in our relationships at home, work and play.  Jesus was the master of relationships and seemed to always know what and how to say things, even in the most difficult times.  We will look at some of those Biblical texts to help us in our relationships.

A Note on the picture above:  When I look at that picture I am reminded how much Jesus desires to be in relationship with us and that he desires us to have healthy relationships.

My Prayer for the Season of Pentecost:   As we journey through this Pentecost Season, may we strive for healthy relationships.  Amen
