of Lent
The Season of Lent marks a 40 day period in the life of the Christian Church when we should reflect on what it means to follow Jesus. Ultimately we should reflect on His journey to Jerusalem and the Cross!
During Lent, we often challenge people to take on a challenge such as: daily Bible reading,
keeping a faith journal, inviting friends to church etc...
The Season of Lent begins with Ash Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 7:15 PM
During the Wednesday's in Lent we will be having a service of Evening Prayer and each week we will focus on a word to reflect on during the week.
The Sunday's of Lent we will focus and characters in the Bible that exhibited great sacrifice in the faith and profession of God in their lifetime.
